Dr Teh (MBBS BSc MRCP FRCR) attended Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, trained in radiology at the Barts and the London, and then undertook a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
He was awarded the Roentgen Professorship by the Royal College of Radiologists in 2018.
Dr Teh has a special interest in sports imaging and has worked at several international games including the Olympics, Commonwealth Games and World Athletics Championships. He is a renowned specialist in bone and soft tissue tumour imaging. He is also an expert at image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal interventional procedures, including vertebroplasty, radiofrequency ablation and tumour sclerotherapy. Dr Teh has been the Clinical Lead at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and is the current director of the musculoskeletal radiology fellowship program. He has also acted as Regional Adviser for the Royal College of Radiologists, and is an educational supervisor for radiology trainees in Oxford.
Dr Teh is a member of the European Society of Skeletal Radiologists (ESSR), British Society of Skeletal Radiologists (BSSR) and the International Skeletal Society. He sits on the Arthritis and Ultrasound subcommittees of the ESSR, and on the Education Committee of the International Skeletal Society. He has previously held positions on the Committee of the BSSR and the Research Committee of the Royal College of Radiologists.
Dr Teh has over 100 peer-reviewed publications and 12 book chapters to his name. His h-index is 31. He regularly lectures nationally and internationally, and has given over 200 international lectures.
