What our patients say…
Our Services
X-rays
X-rays are often the first-line investigation in musculoskeletal ailments. The use of X-rays exposes the patient to a very small dose (within the safe limits) of radiation to produce a 2D image of the body part.
Learn MoreMusculoskeletal MRI scans
MRI is a high resolution scanning technique performed in a magnetic field and does not involve radiation. Our experts are able to identify injury or disease of the joint, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Learn MoreMusculoskeletal CT scans
A CT scan is a painless scan that uses a special circular X-ray machine to take multiple images of bones and joints which is then built into a 3 dimension tomogram by the special computer system.
Learn MoreFluoroscopy
Fluoroscopy is a technique of real-time moving X-ray pictures by using a pulsed X-ray beam and displaying the images in real time on a TV monitor.
Learn MoreMR Arthrography of joints
A joint arthrogram is an imaging procedure to investigate the spaces of a joint by injecting an MRI dye (Gadolinium) into the joint before using an MRI scanner to take pictures.
Learn MoreMusculoskeletal ultrasound
Ultrasound (US) imaging is a common diagnostic medical procedure that uses safe and painless high-frequency sound waves to produce dynamic pictures of the area of interest. US produces excellent real time images of your muscles, tendons and ligaments and other body parts.
Learn MoreImage guided interventions
Our specialists perform a wide range of image guided injections. The image guidance (ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT) enable precise needle tip placement to the target tissue of interest e.g. joint, bursa, tendon sheath, ligament or nerve sheath.
Learn MoreSpinal injections
Spinal injections include procedures like nerve root injections and facet joint blocks. The injection is performed under image guidance (X-ray or CT) usually done to relieve pain and inflammation around the nerve in your neck or back or for pain originating from facet joint osteoarthritis.
Learn MoreVertebroplasty
Vertebroplasty is a procedure used to treat painful vertebral compression fractures in the spinal column, which is usually due to osteoporosis. Our specialists use imaging guidance to inject a cement mixture into the fractured bone.
Learn MoreSclerotherapy of bone lesions
Our experts are amongst the leading radiologists in the country pioneering sclerotherapy for certain benign bone lesions. The treatment involves multiple (one every few months) minimally invasive injections of specialised drugs known to resolve the lesions.
Learn MoreMusculoskeletal radiofrequency ablation
Radiofrequency ablation is a minimally invasive procedure for pain relief. It works by causing heat damage to specific nerves stopping the pain where it starts, it could be the nerves of your spine or joints or selected benign and malignant musculoskeletal lesions.
Learn MoreSports imaging and treatment
OMR work closely with many sports doctors and physios to provide expert diagnostic and therapeutic radiology services to a wide variety of professional and amateur sports clubs.
