Raj Chari FRCR
Dr. Raj Chari was trained in Liverpool where he won a number of academic prizes. He came to Oxford following Fellowships at McGill University, Montreal and a short interventional Fellowship in Strasbourg, France. He has obtained additional sub-specialist experience in trauma, sports, rheumatological, oncological musculoskeletal and spine imaging and intervention.
He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), has an MSc in diagnostic imaging from Oxford University and the Diploma from European Society of Skeletal Radiology. He is a part of the multidisciplinary OXSPORT team. The OXSPORT patients include national and international level elite athletes including runners, rowers, weight lifters, football, rugby and cricket players.
Dr. Chari’s career has been a good balance between clinical and academic roles. He has showed an immense passion towards research and academic activities. He has authored and co-authored a number of medical publications. He participates in CME activities regularly and speak at a number of national and international conferences every year.
