Your Ultrasound. What to Expect

On arrival you will be greeted at Reception and directed to the Waiting Area. The ultrasound assistant will bring you to the scan room where you will be met by your Radiologist. The examination will be fully explained to you. There is no specific preparation and you can eat and drink normally, unless you are also having treatment (see here).

The scan will take from 10 to 20 minutes depending on the procedure. The results will be discussed with you and a report sent to your doctor.
