Catherine L. McCarthy FRCR

I completed my radiology training in Oxford followed by a one year fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the internationally renowned Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. I am currently employed as a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist in Oxford specialising in orthopaedic, sports, trauma and rheumatological imaging. I have expertise in magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, computed tomography and a wide variety of musculoskeletal interventional procedures. I lecture both locally and internationally, have published in international peer reviewed journals and have contributed to a number of musculoskeletal text books. I currently supervise the musculoskeletal radiology training of radiology specialist registrars from Oxford.
